There are many problems in this world but the most annoying is the fluconazole resistant genital candida. What does it mean? It means that regular standard classic antifungal from the most powerful group azols is not working, because Candida got used to it. So what to do with this until recent time nobody knew, until the moment when someone drank pomegranate juice and got cured.
The pleasant part here that pomegranate not only treats genital, oral and internal candidiasis but also prevents it's appearance. It works also synergistic with antibacterial and antifungal meds and increases its effect (especially Nistatin, Clotrimazol, Metronidazol and Fluconazol)
Another pleasant news that it works in the same efficient way for all herpes family. Treats and prevents.
In case of Acyclovir resistant herpes, it works better together with zinc sulfate . So it works both ways topically and orally.
I personally tried Pomegranate mixed with ZnSo4 and Shea butter for both above-mentioned problems and yes it works. In case of Candida it resolved in 48 hrs and in case of herpes it did not start, I had just burning sensation on the lip which stopped in 1 hr after application of the ointment for herpes which consisted from Shea butter 20 gr, 2 ml of Pomegranate seeds oil ,200 mg of pomegranate peel extract, 200 mg of seed extract and 200 mg of fruit extract with ellagic acid 40% plus 50 mg of Zinc sulfate. For ointment for candida I did not put Zinc sulfate but added 2 drops of Myrtle, 1 drop of tea tree oil and 1 drop of oregano oil and also 10 gr of Coconut oil. Although to take orally Zinc sulfate 25 mg it may cause side effect such nausea and stomachache ,so it is more than enough to apply it topically mixed with pomegranate oil. It stops HSV replication. It works also against many other viruses and bacteria.
The entire fruit works perfectly ,but it was also noticed that flowers of Pomegranate or in Latin Punica granatum can treat and prevent strong pain in dosage 50 mg/kg and in clinical studies it was compared with strength to Tramadol 100 mg and Morphine 5 mg but without any side effects neither toxicity or dependency as you get from these 2 heavy drugs.
In regards to toxicity it was found out that Pomegranate is not toxic at all. The highest possible dosage 5000 mg/kg on rat for 14 days did nothing wrong, actually on contrary it treated joints, prevented urolithiasis (kidney stones) and decreased PSA, improved skin elasticity, wound healing. So pomegranate it is a gift from God in all aspects. It has cardioprotective,angioprotective, neuroprotective, gastroprotective and normalizes blood pressure and levels of cholesterol etc etc. You can find other advantages in clinical studies below.
I recommend to have 1 glass of natural juice or minimum 200 mg in supplements continuously for prophylaxis. And for cure Extract of Pomegranate peel/ fruit/ seed 400 mg every 8 hrs for 7 days PO and topically immediately when symptoms or prodromal sensation occur (in case of herpes with Zn sulfate ) 4 times a day until resolves.
Ethanol enhanced pomegranate flowers extract makes it fight completely the most resistant infections Gram-negative P. haemolytica, MRSA, Proteus ,Klebsiela
To enhance strength of pomegranate in case of genital infections you can add couple of drops of Myrtus communis (Common Myrtle)which is not only very effective against all family of candida but also kills Trichomonas vaginalis in the smallest possible dosage, which is very promising since Metronidazole can cause liver damage and contraindicated in pregnancy and nursing
There another 2 herbs highly active against genital bacteria. These are Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) and Oregano. But usage of these substances must be under supervision due to side effects and toxicity (especially Oregano oil so it can be used only topically just 1-2 drops on 50 gr of coconut oil and only in short term).
