Monolaurin prevents growth of Clostridium difficile

Updated: Jan 2, 2023

There is a hope for those who are using antibiotics to stop diarrhea and other consequences.

Monolaurin inhibits growth of Clostridium difficile and Candida albicans species. Which makes recovery faster, safe and easier.

Taking to consideration that besides that "novel" effect Monolaurin does not touch favorable intestinal flora such Lactobacillus and Bifidumbacteria so with just one supplement you are avoiding 2 big problems. Dysbacteriosis and leaking gut syndrome (otherwise knows under name ulcerative colitis and irritable bowel syndrome).

It is enough to have 500 mg every 12 hours for the course of antibacterial therapy and 1 week after to avoid fatal growth of Clostridium and other pathogen flora.

From my previous notes you know already that Monolaurin has also antiviral (for envelope viruses), antibacterial and antifungal effects.

It is very bright beginning of beautiful friendship and let say a light in the end of dark tunnel as usually it is incredibly difficult to treat Clostridium affected intestines and sometimes it goes to fecal transplant, which is very traumatic procedure. Such finding can save a lot of efforts and make easy life.
